Wedding Place Cards
Personalised wedding place cards are a small touch that ties your reception together. By clearly displaying your guests’ names, you prevent them from getting lost or confused. The last thing you want to see is people walking back and forth from the seating chart trying to figure out where their place is! This intentional detail will ensure that your guests can find their seats with ease while also reflecting that their comfort at the reception is important to you.
HOW DO I MAKE MY OWN WEDDING PLACEMENT CARDS?
Whether you prefer flat or tent fold styles, our printable templates make it easy to make beautifully designed escort cards at home. Watch our card maker tutorial to see how our templates work. You can even try it out before purchasing using the demo link available in the listing description!
SHOULD I PUT MY GUESTS’ FULL NAMES ON THEIR PLACE CARDS?
At the minimum, you should include your guests’ full first name as a formality. Although you may refer to your maid of honour as “Liz,” it is best to write “Elizabeth” on her name card. If you’d rather not write everyone’s last name, including the first initial of their last name prevents any confusion if you happen to have multiple guests with the same first name. However, displaying everyone’s full name on their place setting is the safest bet.
We offer editable wedding placement cards in both flat and tent fold styles. See our easy-to-use printable templates below.
